In 1982, the Guardians of the Galaxy’s alternate future started with lots of changes from Earth-616. From here, Earth began colonizing other planets of the solar system, populating them with genetically engineered populace. The golden age of social and scientific environment began.

But this has not last that long as in 3007 A.D., Badoon aliens invaded the solar system where they destroyed lots of the colonies that almost killed the inhabitants of the Jupiter, Mercury and Pluto settlements. Then Earth was their next target where they decimated the United Lands of Earth’s space fleet which is technologically inferior to them. Many died and the remainders became slaves.

Space militia pilot and Jupiter colony native Charlie-27 returned from his solo tour only to see the destruction made by Badoon. He managed to escape through the teleportation tube and landed on Pluto to join force with the last man of Pluto, Martinex, who voluntarily stayed behind after his people evacuated to destroy the industrial facilities in the planet so that the enemies couldn’t use them. The two then teleported to Earth with the hope to see the extent of the invasion.

When they two teleported, Vance Astro has just arrived on Centauri IV planet over one thousand years after the space launch. But he learned that his achievements are meaningless as Earth has already developed and had traveled to the Alpha Centauri ahead of him, where they founded a human settlement. He left the colony to pursue his surveying mission and met humanoid Yondu who accompanied him back to Earth after the Badoon has exterminated the tribe of Yondu. Astro and Yondu encountered Martinex and Charlie-27 when they are captured by the invaders upon arrival. The four managed to escape and decided to stay together to fight against the Badoon oppressions and the Guardians of the Galaxy was formed. Personality

Darkseid is evil personified. He is a tyrant who rules his kingdom with fear and he will kill anyone or anything just because he wants to. He is cruel to his enemies and even his allies. Darkseid’s goal in life is to control the entire universe by taking away free-will. He discovered that to do this, he had to seek out the Anti-Life equation. DC Comics and Marvel Comics also started to publish several superhero characters in their comic books around this era.  These two major comic book publishers also saw the growth of comic book specialty shops that they have created comics that were exclusively published for sale in these shops.  Marvel initially created the comic book entitled “Dazzler” for this purpose and it was a craze for the public that it sold more than 400,000 copies.  Consequently, comic book enthusiasts would wait for the next publication in the comic series and thousands of these collectors would line up for limited edition copies.
